Deadset Digging is an owner operated earthmoving and excavation business servicing metropolitan Adelaide. When Searchology took over the SEO campaign in mid 2025 the website was getting around a dozen clicks a month from Google and almost no enquiries from search. Twelve months on, organic search is the business’s main source of work.
Pool removal, land clearing, site preparation, soil removal, concrete removal and trenching each got their own page, written around the questions homeowners and builders actually ask.
Pool infill and retaining wall projects in Morphett Vale, Flagstaff Hill and Dernancourt published with before and after drone photography, giving Google and customers proof of the work.
Products, services and posts optimised for the Maps pack, where the business now ranks first for searches like “excavation contractor” and “earthmoving contractor”.
Form submissions, phone taps and email clicks tracked separately in Google Analytics, with a monthly report on what each channel produced.
In the Google Maps pack, Search Console shows the business in first or second position for “excavation contractor”, “earthmoving contractor”, “earthmoving Adelaide”, “pool removal Adelaide” and “non destructive digging”. Organic positions verified in Ahrefs, September 2026.
The business no longer relies on directories or paid ads for work. The homepage and the land clearing page alone now produce around two thirds of all enquiries.
