What information we collect

Enquiries. When you contact us through a form on this website, by email or by phone, we collect the details you provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, business name, website address, and the content of your message.

Phone calls. We may use call tracking on the phone numbers displayed on this website. When you call, the tracking service logs your phone number, the time and duration of the call, and the webpage or source that led to your call. We do not record calls.

Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to collect information about how visitors use this website, such as pages visited, time on page, approximate location, device type, and traffic source.

Advertising. This website may use advertising cookies and pixels from Google Ads and Meta to measure the performance of our advertising and to show relevant ads to people who have visited this website (remarketing).

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and provide you with information about our services.
• To deliver SEO and related services if you become a client, including invoicing and service communications.
• To send occasional marketing emails about our services to people who have enquired with us or been clients. Every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe link, and we action unsubscribe requests promptly, as required by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
• To measure and improve this website and our advertising.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Client campaign data

If you engage us for SEO services, we access accounts and data connected to your business in order to perform the work, for example your Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, and website content management system. We access this data only to deliver the agreed services, we treat it as confidential, and access ends when our engagement ends, subject to the terms of your service agreement.

Where your information is stored

Enquiry and client correspondence is stored in our email system (Google Workspace). Payments are processed by Stripe and GoCardless, or by direct bank transfer against our invoices. We do not store your full card or bank account details ourselves. Analytics and advertising data is held by the relevant provider (Google, Meta). Some of these providers store data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States and United Kingdom, under their own privacy safeguards.

Cookies

This website uses cookies for analytics (Google Analytics) and may use cookies for advertising (Google Ads, Meta). Analytics cookies help us understand how the site is used. Advertising cookies allow remarketing and conversion measurement. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalised advertising through Google’s Ads Settings and Meta’s ad preferences.

Data retention

Records connected to client engagements and payments are kept for 7 years to meet Australian tax record-keeping requirements. Enquiry records from people who do not become clients are kept only as long as reasonably needed. Analytics data is retained according to the provider’s standard settings.

Your rights

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we are legally required to keep.
• Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us first and we will work to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published at this address is the version that applies. We will notify active clients by email of any material changes.
