Website Terms of Use

About these terms

searchology.com.au is operated by Searchology Pty Ltd (ACN 702 465 245, ABN 60 702 465 245), trading as Searchology and Websites For Tradies, based in Adelaide, South Australia. By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

These terms cover your use of the website only. If you engage us for SEO, Google Business Profile, link building, website design, hosting or any other service, that engagement is governed by a separate service agreement signed with you, not by these terms. Where these terms and that agreement conflict, the agreement applies.

Using this website

You may browse this website and use its content to learn about our services and decide whether to contact us. You must not use the website in a way that is unlawful, that damages or interferes with it, or that copies its content in bulk, including by scraping or automated tools, without our written permission.

Information on this website

The content on this website is general information about SEO and our services. It is not advice for your particular business, and you should not rely on it as a substitute for a conversation with us about your situation. We take care to keep the content accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete or free from errors, and we may change it at any time without notice.

Search volumes, keyword data and industry figures shown on this website come from third party tools such as Ahrefs and Google. They are estimates, they change over time, and they are provided as a guide only.

Case studies, reviews and results

The case studies on this website describe real outcomes for real clients, and the reviews are written by real clients and published through Google. They are the experience of those businesses and the opinions of those individuals. Past results are not a promise of future results.

SEO outcomes depend on factors we do not control, including Google’s algorithms and search features, your competitors, the condition of your website, your budget and how quickly work is approved. For that reason we do not guarantee any particular ranking, traffic level, lead volume or revenue, on this website or in any engagement, and nothing on this website should be read as such a guarantee.

Enquiries and free consultations

Submitting an enquiry or booking a free SEO strategy call does not create a contract between us. The call is a no-obligation discussion about your business and whether we are a good fit. We may decline to work with any business at our discretion, and nothing is agreed until both parties sign a service agreement.

Intellectual property

The text, images, graphics, logos, page layouts and code on this website are owned by Searchology Pty Ltd or used under licence, and are protected by Australian and international copyright and trade mark law. You may view, download and print pages for your own personal or internal business reference. You must not otherwise reproduce, republish, distribute or commercially exploit any part of the website without our written permission.

Client names, logos and trade marks shown on this website belong to their respective owners and are displayed with permission to identify businesses we have worked with. No licence to use them is granted.

Third party links

This website links to third party websites, including Google, Instagram, LinkedIn and client websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link does not mean we endorse the site or its operator.

Australian Consumer Law and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all other warranties in relation to this website, and we are not liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense, including loss of profit, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or its content. Our liability in relation to any services we provide is set out in the service agreement signed with you.

Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
